The Faroe Islands are famous for their unique and wild nature. They offer amazing landscapes including rolling hills, ocean cliffs, waterfalls and picturesque valleys. Open spaces and clean air make the Faroe Islands a great place for hiking and trekking.

Program:

  1. Day 1

    Accommodation at the hotel
    Free time
After you have checked into the hotel, we recommend that you drive to the villages of Bør and Gásadalur, which offer an extraordinary view of Tindhólmur, Dranganir and Mykines.
  2. Day 2

You will pass through the underwater tunnel in Streymoy and drive north towards Eysturoy. We recommend stopping in Saksun with its lagoon-like lake surrounded by mountains, Tjörnuvik with its breathtaking views and Jøgve with its charming houses and gorge. In the evening, we recommend a visit to Garðahús House in Sölðarfjörður, where you will be invited into the charming home of local farmers and served a home-cooked dinner with Faroese delicacies.
  3. Day 3

The third day is spent in the north. The northern islands consist of six small islands: Bordøy, Kunoy, Kalsøy, Vidøy, Svinøy and Fuglay. A trip to the northernmost village of Vidareidi is highly recommended, as the nature, mountains and surroundings are breathtaking. If you climb up from the village, you will have a view of all the other northern islands.

The tour continues south to Tórshavn. You can choose to take the longer route via Eysturoy and Streymoy, or drive through the new underwater tunnel from Toftir to Tórshavn. Upon arrival in Tórshavn, you will check into the Føroyar Hotel or the Tórshavn Hotel for three nights. We suggest you spend the rest of the day exploring the city, and enjoy a nice dinner in one of the city's renowned restaurants.

Tórshavn, the capital, has a lot to offer and we suggest you spend a day enjoying the city. Visit the old town "Uti a Reini" and the parliament "Tinganes".
