Visit to Santa Claus Village
Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi, located above the Arctic Circle, is a unique place to meet Santa Claus, also called Father Christmas.
Here you can visit Santa Claus above the Arctic Circle every day of the year. If you wish, the elves can create a high-quality photo as a souvenir of your meeting with Santa Claus.
Visit to the local reindeer farm
This journey begins with a visit to a local reindeer farm in the Arctic Forest. There you will meet the reindeer and the farmers who will tell you all about the creatures’ way of life and how they are kept happy. Afterwards you will be introduced to Santa’s favourite mode of transport: the reindeer sleigh. Don’t worry about the temperature, you will lie down on the sleigh and be covered with a warm blanket.
Snowmobile safari
Hop on a snowmobile and discover frozen rivers and lakes, secluded forests, and vast views of the hilltops.
On longer trips, you will stay in a laavu (Finnish lean-to). Here, your guide can light a fire and offer you something sweet and a cup of warm berry juice or campfire coffee.
Norther Lights hunt
You will spend this excursion in comfortable minivans with a capacity of 6-8 people, so that we have the opportunity to go as far as necessary to find the northern lights. We cannot guarantee that you will see the northern lights, but we can guarantee that we will do our best to find them for you. All guides are professional “polar light hunters” and can answer all your questions about this natural phenomenon, Finland and its culture.
Dog sledding safari
Dog sledding is a fantastic winter activity. The owners of the kennel have about 60 friendly huskies who just love to run and travel through beautiful winter landscapes. Dog sledding routes can vary from short walks in the forest to long trails over rough terrain.
