Classic Puffin Birdwatching

One of our experienced guides will meet you on board one of our comfortable and stable boats moored at the floating pier.

Depending on the tides and conditions on the islands, the captains will take you to Angie, Akurey or Lundy, one of three islands known for their abundance of birds. We cannot go to the islands, but we will try to get as close as possible without disturbing the nesting birds.

In addition to puffins, you have the opportunity to see other birds such as eiders, arctic terns, guillemots and cormorants. The shores of the island are rocky, but experienced captains know where to best approach the puffins without disturbing their natural behavior.

If the weather is right, we can even turn off the engines so you can better enjoy nature and listen to the cries of the birds. During the excursion, the crew will tell you interesting facts and stories about the puffins and the surrounding area.
