Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach

This natural wonder of Iceland, the huge ancient icebergs that have broken off from the Vatnajökull glacier, are a sight you absolutely cannot miss.

The lagoon creates a sense of incredible tranquility as the 1000-1500 year old ice silently sinks into the lake and slowly melts.

We stop at the magnificent waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. Seljalandsfoss is part of the Sölanda River, which originates from the Eyjafjallajokull glacier. Seljalandsfoss is so famous and interesting that you can walk around it on foot. We recommend that you bring a raincoat or waterproof coat. Skógafoss, another famous Icelandic waterfall, is the starting point for the Fimmvörðuháls walk in Örsmörk.
