Folgefonna Glacier Walk – Full Day Trip from Bergen

Folgefonna is Norway’s third largest glacier, covering a total of 200 square kilometers. Folgefonna offers panoramic views of the fjord, the Rosendal Alps and the North Sea to the west.

Your departure will be from Bergen by bus at 07:30 to the Hardangerfjord, in the town of Nordheimsund. Then by passenger ferry to the town of Herand. From there by bus to Folgefonna Glacier. There will be an English-speaking guide waiting with the necessary equipment for climbing the glacier.

The walking tour lasts approximately 4 hours, including instruction. After the walk, return by the same transport (bus, ship, bus).

Arrival in Bergen at approximately 19:00.

What you need: sturdy footwear (mountaineering boots), clothing against wind/rain, food/water.
