The tour is by car/bus and includes a walking tour of the Old Town. The tour starts from your hotel or in the city center by arrangement.
During the tour, you will see or visit all the central islands of Stockholm, as well as the mainland. After all, Stockholm is located on 14 islands!
You will see the Diplomatic Town, built up mainly with villas from the 1910-1920s. Then you will get to the Animal Island (Djurgården), which now houses the main museums of the city. You will drive through fashionable areas, admire magnificent buildings, and the Dramatic Theater and the Royal Opera will be remembered for their architecture.
During the sightseeing tour, you will have the opportunity to admire the Royal Park of Trees, which was mentioned in the chronicle back in 1430, and the Town Hall, which is one of the symbols of the Swedish capital.
Did you know that the Nobel Prize ceremony takes place at the Stockholm Concert Hall? Thanks to this excursion, you will see this iconic place with your own eyes. You will also visit the modern part of Stockholm and see the central Sergel Torg square, central department stores and the ministry district.
Stockholm has many observation decks from which you can admire the panorama of the city and the views around it.
The sightseeing tour includes a walking tour of the Old Town (Gamla Stan).
- In the Old Town is the Royal Palace, the official residence of the Swedish royal family, where the offices of the king, queen and crown princess are now located.
- Next to the palace you will see the Cathedral – this medieval cathedral is famous for its royal weddings and coronations.
- In the central square of the Old Town there is a museum dedicated to the Nobel Prize and its laureates.
- During the walk you will also see the German Church with unique architecture and interesting history, the Iron Boy, the rune stone, Stortorget and Järntorget squares, the sculpture “George defeating the dragon” and much more.
