Stockholm’s Palace Necklace (Royal Palace and Drottningholm Palace visit)

We will start our tour with a visit to the Royal Palace Museums*. About half of the palace is a museum area and offers a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the rich history and culture of Sweden, as well as the history of the Swedish royal dynasties. Inside the palace you will find art collections, luxurious interiors, royal costumes. You will visit the state and guest apartments, the Bernadotte floors, the halls of the orders, the hall of the National Assembly, and get acquainted with many exhibits. Next we will go to Drottningholm Palace.

Drottningholm is the country residence of the Royal couple, where they have lived since the early 1980s. It is one of the most visited attractions in Stockholm and its environs, included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Drottningholm Palace is famous for its luxurious interiors of the 17th-19th centuries and its own theater, which is one of the oldest operating theaters in Europe. The palace also has a baroque park, the King Gustav III Park Theatre, an English park, and a Chinese pavilion (open in summer). In the summer, old boats sail from the palace to the center of Stockholm. It is possible to order lunch during a boat trip.
