Svaneholms slot, Torup slot, Glimmengehus, Bosjökloste. The tour includes visits to 2-3 castles of your choice.

Svaneholm Castle is located in southern Sweden, 26 km from the city of Malmo. It stands on a small island in Lake Svane. The castle was originally built in the Gothic style in the 16th century. It was subsequently rebuilt under the influence of the popularity of the Italian Baroque, and later still, the moat was filled in and the island was turned into a peninsula. An English park was also laid out on the territory adjacent to the castle. During the restoration in 1876, frescoes were discovered in the Hall of the Knights on the first floor.
The last owner installed central heating and electricity in the castle. You should definitely visit this eclectic castle, which reflects trends in European architecture and, in part, urban planning. Now it belongs to the state and operates as a museum.

Bosjokloster Castle. Visit one of Skåne’s oldest surviving castles, with events and exhibitions throughout the year, terraced gardens, an animal park, ancient trees, play areas and rowing boats, and a restaurant serving local cuisine. Until 1658, the Danish monastery of Boso was the first monastery next to Frost’s manor in the Skåne area. The monastery, located on the isthmus into Lake Ringsjön, was probably founded in 1080 as a Benedictine monastery. Since 1962, the castle has been open to the public. Bosjokloster Castle is one of the oldest castles in Sweden and is located in a picturesque location on the shore of a lake.

Thorup Castle is located about 14 kilometers east of Malmö in the middle of a picturesque park where travelers who come here love to walk. It is considered one of the best preserved northern medieval castles. The lush vegetation surrounding the castle makes it look even more enchanting. The interior of the castle is no less impressive: it houses a rich collection of ancient artifacts. The castle was supposedly built in the 16th century and its long history is evidenced by the climbing stems that cover the brick walls of the castle and its turrets. The castle is surrounded by a moat, which once protected it from any enemy attack.

Glimmingehus Castle is located in the southernmost province of Sweden – Skåne; its construction began back in the days when the province belonged to Denmark. Glimmingehus is a medieval-era castle. For the construction of the castle, limestone was used as the main building stone, and marble. After construction was completed, a deep ditch filled with water was dug around the castle and a chain drawbridge was built. Today Glimmingehus is a magnificent museum that reveals to us the interior and atmosphere of the medieval castle in its pristine beauty. In local folklore, the castle is described as haunted by many ghosts.
